Week 15 - How Big Is Baby w/ Q&A

Baby is the size of an orange!

About our lil Munchkin:
Continuing the march towards normal proportions, baby's legs now outmeasure the arms. And, finally, all four limbs have functional joints. Your fetus is squirming and wiggling like crazy down in the womb, though you probably still can't feel the movements.  Your growing baby now measures about 4 inches long, crown to rump, and weighs in at about 2 1/2 ounces. She's busy moving amniotic fluid through her nose and upper respiratory tract, which helps the primitive air sacs in her lungs begin to develop.

Today's date: Sept 14, 2010

How far along:  15 weeks

Total weight gain: 0 lbs.

Maternity clothes: Haven't brought any, wearing the Maternity Band to hold up my pre-pregnancy jeans.  Highly recommend it.

Sleep: toss and turn all night, feels better to sleep in my recliner

Best moment(s) of the week:  Go shopping for baby things...but I never buy just yet, waiting to find out gender first

Food cravings/aversions:  I can't drink milk.  No food cravings yet

Morning sickness: My nausea is gone now.  I still puke when I sniff certain smells or don't eat

Symptoms: Nipples sore, vomiting occasionally, bloating

Labor signs: None

Belly button in or out: Still in

What I miss: nothing really, I still drink 1 soda a day

What I'm looking forward to: Finding out the gender of our lil munchkin

What's going on this week: Officially in the 2nd trimester and gonna have to purchase some maternity clothes this coming week possibly. Also plan on buying Sunshine Kids Radian 65SL convertible car seat for Evan so we can fit Evan and baby in the middle row comfortably.
