Big Photo Challenge (Black White)

The Big Photo Challenge

BIG Photo Challenge (BPC) is hosted by Louise (Adori Graphics) on her photography blog called Adorible Photography.

This weeks challenge theme is Black & White.

This is one of my New York vacation pictures I took on Long Island going to the beach.  The lighthouse happens to be black & white.  This could also be in last weeks BPC for signs.

The Big Photo Challenge - Water

The Big Photo Challenge

This weeks challenge theme is Water.

About a week ago, we set up a pool in our backyard.  We let the kids play in it while it was filling up.
I saw Small Fry heading for the water hose and snapped this picture.
I wish I had been facing the other way but it's still a good picture.

This weeks challenge theme is OLD.
I have had these old images blown up a year ago or so right after my papaw died in Jan 09.  I thought they were appropriate for this challenge since these are old photos :)

The BIG Photo Challenge - Blue

Week 2 of the Big Photo Challenge

The Big Photo Challenge

I am participating in a great new meme/blog hop party from Lousie (Adori Graphics) on her photography blog called Adorible Photography.

The BIG photo challenge is a photo challenge, which is based on a theme which is picked at random and changed each week. The themes are designed to be quick, easily achievable, for amateurs and new photographers and they can easily be completed in the house and garden. Everybody follows the same theme. Click button above for more information.

This weeks challenge theme is Blue. This small, old, blue carrying case is where my mom keeps all our family pictures.  I have the blue case now because I was going through all the old photos of my family. Some photos date back to when my parents met and before which is back in the 1960s.   My dad was in the navy in the 60s and you can see his photo below taken while he was on the navy ship. The other photo is of my mom right before she met my dad.  I love to go through old photos and thought this was an awesome photo challenge to present this blue photo case to all my bloggy friends :)

This weeks challenge theme is Abandoned,  My hubs is a woodworks hobbiest so this little abandoned cabinet was inherited from a customer which seems to me an antique but in bad shape and is on my back patio.  He made a replica of the cabinet for the customer.  I asked him to refinished it but he never answered me, plus I have no place for it :(
