I live in the tri-state area of Arkansas, Tennessee & Mississippi. Back in 1993, a heinous crime happened in West Memphis, Arkansas which is about 15 minutes from where I live over the Mississippi River bridge. The crime left three 8 year-old boys dead and 3 teenage boys punished for the crime. I have never believed that these teenage boys, which are my age at the time, did this crime. If you live in this area, you know that West Memphis police were nasty police officers and incompetent jack***es.  I know because I hung out with people over there and had run in with the police a few times in my teenage & young adult life.

These teenage boys were into heavy-metal music and books about witchcraft and this is why there were targeted for this crime. Since they were convicted of the crime, they have been called 'The West Memphis Three' or 'WM3'. I firmly believe they are innocent and the real murderer of these innocent young, little boys is roaming free as we speak or has already died. I, at one point, thought one of the 8 year-old boys stepfather had some role in the crime. I have read the book & watched the documentary and boy did the police mess all the evidence up and not following leads.  The ironic thing is, the prosecutor of the WM3 was John Fogleman, who is my oldest son's great uncle & was promoted Judge probably due to winning these cases.  I don't know what to think about that and how someone could send them to prison with NO evidence and with just heresay.

There are many others who support The West Memphis Three which include Ozzy Osborne, Eddie Vedder, Winona Ryder, Dixie Chicks and Johnny Depp.  CBS's  48 Hours Mystery will air a one-hour special dedicated to the WM3 case on Saturday, Feb. 27, 10PM ET/PT. There are no complete details but it will feature an extensive interview with Damien Echols, JM Byers, supporters and a legal update on the case.  Depp will also appear on "48 Hours Mystery" to call for reopening the case of the West Memphis Three -- convicted as teenagers of beating three 8-year-olds to death in 1994 -- because he believes they never got a fair trial.

Brief Overview
Case Synopsis by Burk Sauls
Case Synopsis by Dan Stidham
Chronology of Events
Crime Library's Concise Primer
Books & Films
Evidence Archives
Videos  must see
I've seen HBO Documentary: Paradise Lost: The Child Murders at Robin Hood Hills
I've also read Devil's Knot: The True Story of The West Memphis Three by Mara Leveritt
I want to read The Blood of Innocents: The True Story of Multiple Murder in West Memphis

It is with great sadness that 3 precious little boys will never grow up, be with family, marry or have kids, they were defenseless!

Then there are the WM3, who are robbed of their freedom of a crime they never committed. There is NO evidence that these 3 teenagers did torture or kill these innocent boys.

I would love my readers to read through all my links & tune in this Saturday to watch 48 Hours Mystery and would love your take or opinion on this case.

  5. I saw the HBO special about these boys and from the beginning I didn't think they were guilty! That creepy ass step dad (I think he was the step dad) would have been my first suspect! Lol... I hope someday they reopen the case and give these boys their lives back!
