I just finished a custom blog design for Paige, The Condrays, her personal blog. Paige is a very sweet/bubbly, southern gal. She has another site called Personalized By Paige, an embroidery/crafts home-business. I bet she would be glad for yall to stop in and check her sites out.

Disappearing Nav Bar

Here is a cool trick that I am using now to get my NavBar to disappear but not completely gone! For those of you who are unfamiliar with the NavBar (or navigation), it's that colored strip at the top of your blog that is really handy, but not very cute ;) Some people don't like it to show up but love the handy links it provides, well Megan over at Shabby Blogs has a great tutorial for it to disappear when not using it. It only appears when you hover over it at the top.

*New* NavBar Option

Today, I found a new option in changing your NavBar color choices that I have to share with everyone. Now, there is an option for Light Transparency or Dark Transparency. See my previews below on what each option looks like.

Volunteered Designs on Adori Graphics

I would like to take a moment to let you all know about a great blog makeover site called Adori Graphics which is run by the sweetest gal named Louise.

Louise and I got in touch a day or so ago about a few things and found out she was at a loss and/or time for her weekly Freebie Friday post. I volunteered to create something using her Halloween digi-scrap kit.

Here is another custom blog design I just finished last night for Kari at Wolf Song Customs. Kari is a very sweet person with Seminole & Cherokee Indian roots. That is where her theme comes from, her background. She designs all sorts of things such as custom word graphics, picture graphics, photo editing, icons, blinkies, myspace layouts and has a list of clients for each month for offers. Custom Design - 1st in Portfolio

A few days ago, a friend of mine, Michelle from Cherished Memories Customs asked me to create her a very first blogger template. I was thrilled because she didn't have any request except to make it girly. I did my best and made it girly and retro-ish. Michelle said she is thrilled with the design. So everyone go take a look at her blog. She is just now getting started. Design graphics are digi-scrap kit called Wrapped in Love by Craftastical.

Back Up & Running

We bought a new computer Thursday and I've been installing all the programs I need to design again. I will be back posting templates Monday morning or sooner, just depends. I am loving my new computer now. It's been so long since I had a new one :)

MIA - Computer Crashed

I will be missing in action for a few days. My computer crashed yesterday and we were trying to recover it but have had NO luck :( We've had that computer since summer 2004 so I would think it's time for a new one. Bad thing is, I LOST EVERYTHING but I do have some programs on back up, thankfully. I am hoping we can get a new computer by the weekend and invest in an external hard drive for backing up our important stuff & songs. My hubby had over 15,000 songs. At least, I am able to come to my mom's house and use her computer to post this update of my MIA. If you sent me an email, please be patient on my response until this issue is resolved.
